As President of the Hong Kong Medical Aesthetics Association, I’m excited to share insightson global aesthetics trends for the summit publication. Despite the challenges of thepandemic and its aftermath, our industry has shown remarkable resilience, adapting to newrealities while advancing innovation. Key trends include:

  1. Non-Invasive Procedures: Demand for minimally invasive treatments like injectables(e.g., neuromodulators, fillers) and skin rejuvenation (e.g., microneedling, PRP) continues tosurge globally, driven by shorter recovery times and natural results. Per the InternationalSociety of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), non-surgical procedures rose by 7.4% in 2023.
  2. Personalized Treatments: AI and skin analysis technologies are tailoring treatments toindividual needs, enhancing outcomes and patient satisfaction. Clinics worldwide areadopting data-driven approaches for customized skincare regimens.
  3. Sustainability and Ethics: Eco-conscious products and ethical practices are gainingtraction. Consumers prioritize vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable skincare, with brandsreformulating to meet these demands.
  4.  Regenerative Aesthetics: Stem cell therapies and biostimulatory fillers are revolutionizinganti-aging treatments, focusing on tissue regeneration for longer-lasting results.
  5. Digital Integration: Virtual consultations and AR tools for treatment visualization areenhancing patient engagement, especially post-pandemic.These trends reflect our industry’s alignment with global and Chinese markets, fosteringinnovation and collaboration.
